Touch A Truck
Every year in Thousand Oaks they have an event called Touch A Truck. The kids had a blast climbing in the fire trucks, UPS vans, garbage trucks...too much to list! We had so much fun even though it was very warm.
In this bottom picture Austin is reading the Wall Street Journal. Ben reads it every morning and Austin loves to do all that his Dad does, so I came out and found him reading about the economy and all that jazz. Yeah, just the everyday life of a 4 year old genius.
Posh Hollywood Party
We were invited by an organization to attend a fundraiser for Children's Hospital LA. They invited 11 families and a bunch of Hollywood people (American Idol, people from soap operas, professional sports players, Disney Channel, random actors/actresses) to raise money. It was Alice in Wonderland themed and pretty fun. I even found another mother who went through having a young child with a calostomy. It was pretty fun, and the kids got lots of loot (toys!) to take home.

While Ben's Mom was here we went to the Jewish Cultural Museum. They have a Noah's Ark exhibit just for kids. They had so many cool things! From a Giraffe you could move, to loading the ark two by two, making lightning, an above ground maze you can crawl through, pretend cooking, and even sweeping up after animals (ewww).
At the end of march we went to Mesa Arizona to visit Jacob and Serenity and for Ben to go to some Mariner spring training games. Just the boys went because it was HOT when we visited. We did get a chance to go to visit the zoo, which was totally huge and a little overwhelming, but fun. My cousin Allison came along as well, and Ben's cousin Erica, who is friends with Allison, is staying at Jacob's home while she goes to school. We played games, hung out, and had a lot of fun. We swam in their pool which isn't heated, so it was coooold, and yes I went partially in, and no you don't get to see pictures of my white body. It might scar you for life. Jacob was kind enough to go in and swim with the kids. They had a blast with their Uncle Jacob.
