My friend from high school, and from Rainbow, Erin Adolphsen. We stopped to see her in Oregon on our long drive up.
So we went to Moses Lake. My sister came down and made the looooong drive up with the kids and I. I was so grateful that she made the drive with me. We stopped to see the Miller family in Oregon, on my Birthday. Ben had called ahead and they got me a cake and went out for food. It was an awesome surprise!
The next day we drove through the Dalles and was stuck in pretty heavy traffic. At one point we checked our phones to see if it would be getting any better. While we were slowly driving under an over pass we realized that we need to get off there because I really needed to PEE! Really, really badly. So we did what any responsible driver would do. We drove up the off ramp. Of course we looked and drove slowly (this was in the middle of nowhere). But we did find a place on the side of the road, and my bladder was very grateful. I don't think that Jay will ever let me forget that.
While up there Jacob and Austin were able to hang out for the first time in a long time. Austin was thrilled to see his favorite uncle.
Austin celebrated his 1 year kidney anniversary while we were there. It was awesome. To celebrate we arranged to see Dr. Hernandez and his nurse Deb that same week.
We loved to go cliff diving, and swimming in the lake. We went 3 or 4 times. It was about an hours drive.
